How Do We Know Biotech Crops Are Safe?
How do we know foods produced through agricultural biotechnology are safe?
All biotech products on the marketplace today have gone through seven to 10 years of scientific testing and review, and millions of dollars in research. These products have been thoroughly reviewed by scientists working for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and/or the Food and Drug Administration. Those agencies review and approve crops on a case-by-case basis.
